We understand that changing careers is a big deal – trust us, we've been there! Our team is made up of career changers ourselves: a scientist, a teacher, a paralegal, and a project manager. We treat your job search with the same care and consideration as other major life decisions, like buying a house or getting married.

What really matters

Sure, a resume is a representation of your skills and experience, but it's not a revelation. It means little if you don't have the resources to execute it. People want to work with people that they want to grab coffee with. They need to picture you as a part of their extended family. You can be the smartest person in the room, but if you have little to no EQ, it's not going to matter. 

Prospecting everyone is lazy and uninformed. Knowing who you WANT to work with and proactively targeting them is infinitely more effective. We'll identify your favorite clients – the ones who leave you feeling happy and energized. We'll work to figure out if there are any patterns. Check for similar personality traits, demographics, and values that can give us clues about your ideal culture. 

Getting your hands dirty

Did you know in real life, Bruce Lee practiced Jeet Kune Do? It places more emphasis on striking with the elbows and knees. Why? Because you can hit WAY harder with them than you can with your fists and feet. The secret lies in leverage. 

We will be doing a deep dive into your personality and background. We may need you to take a cultural index exam, update your resume, or your LinkedIn portfolio. We will require you to answer some hard questions about your future and your past. You may need a few practice interviews before we send you on to an interview. Just as critical self-defense skills are amplified with leverage, so is your career.

What's Next

After we have found a few matches for you and our clients. We will negotiate on your behalf and present you with an offer. This is about building a better opportunity for you and not about our ego. We are committed to building a business where 100% of our team members genuinely love where they work and are supported by their colleagues. Our reputation depends on it. 

Whatever the final decision, we’ll let you know as quickly as we can. If it turns out that this role isn’t a good fit, we will re-strategize. Because when you’ve got a strong enough why, you can always find the how.
